Quest 88 has been involved in the design and manufacture of special needs tricycles for over 15 years. Whilst we are not the first company in this field, Quest 88 is responsible for many of the innovations which are now considered essential and common place on both our own tricycles and those of our competitors.
These innovations are largely due to Quest 88’s orthotic heritage and in particular the influence of our Joint Managing Director, Jeremy Henshaw FBIST, who has some 43 years experience in the field of Orthotics and paediatric product development. During this time many Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Rehabilitation Engineers have also contributed additional design input into our tricycles.
Through the thousands of tricycles we have supplied, and with thoughtful and considered product development, Quest 88 has evolved our tricycles into a less ‘cluttered’ design and have endeavored to build in the fun aspects of mainstream bicycles, without compromising the tricycles ability to provide a “custom fit” for those with moderate and severe disability.
